World Advocates is an international human services organization meeting the physical and social needs of the world's poor and vulnerable. World Advocates does this through education, construction, advocacy, micro-enterprise, and leadership, literacy and vocational training. World Advocates partners with both governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Bosnia
Our office in Sarajevo will be temporarily closed until March 2009. We will then be re-opening to continue rebuilding playgrounds and to develop our programs related to children and youth. Jordan
Post orphanage support is an often unconsidered social issue. In Amman we are coming alongside young women and walking with them as they move towards self-sufficiency. Our affiliate in Herat has established some exciting business initiatives. These include a coffeeshop and micro-enterprise projects in the Herat community.
